Meet The Team

Director/Producer
Amar Shah
Shah is a multiple Emmy-winning writer and producer with more than 20 years of experience. He was a producer and network executive at ESPN, Fox Sports, and NFL Network. He also created an award-winning in-house agency for major hospitality brands.

He recently won the Harvardwood Writers Competition for his screenplay Gas-N-Shop based on his viral Washington Post essay on his parents, gas station life, and Apu.
His basketball trilogy THE HOOP CON (Play the Game #1) (Scholastic Press) is out February, 6 2024. And my graphic novel memoir WISH I WAS A BALLER (Scholastic/Graphix) debuts in 2025.

Rahul Rohatgi
An Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer and director, Rohatgi has covered events like the Super Bowl and traveled the world to uncover stories beyond the headlines.

His projects cover diverse topics – from true crime in rural Alaska, to scientific exploration of thehuman body's internal systems.
​
He started his career working on documentaries at HBO before moving on to the NFL Network and now CBS Sports.

Producer
Milan Chakraborty
A veteran independent film producer, Chakraborty is a credited producer on 20 independent films.
​
His projects often focus on underrepresented communities, from Asian Americans to people withdisabilities.
​
Chakraborty started his career at Warner Bros. Pictures in production finance and accounting,traveling across the globe with production teams for over a dozen films.
​
Recent films include “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain,” and “The Dark and the Wicked.”

Producer
Sanjay Sharma
Sharma is the founder and CEO of Marginal Mediaworks, an Imagine Entertainment new mediastudio focused on popular storytelling genres from outsider voices across all formats.

Sharma has spent his career at the intersection of media and technology, starting at Warner Bros.Pictures, then helping start and lead Machinima, the first YouTube MCN, and ALL DEF Media, a leading media brand in hip hop and urban content.

Intern
Sushmita Udoshi
Sushmita Udoshi is in her final year of undergraduate studies at Boston University pursuing a degree in Film & TV. Her passion for the arts and visual storytelling began on the dance floor, training in Bharatanatyam since she was a toddler. She has since carried her performing arts background into theatre acting. As a lover of history and the power moving image has to educate larger populations, Sushmita’s passion in film to bring impactful stories of underrepresented communities to the screen.

Intern
Khushi Patel
Khushi Patel is a rising junior at Brown University studying Public Health and Data Science. Born to Gujarati immigrant parents, Khushi brings a unique perspective shaped by her rich cultural heritage. With extensive lived experience in the Patel Motel industry spanning almost two decades in Metro-Detroit, she possesses a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs experienced by Patel families. Khushi's passion lies in shedding light on the often overlooked stories of undocumented Patel families in America.
